SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

SEMINAR 1 – 10:00-11:00am
“Paso Rocks The World!”

Hear from some of the top winemakers in the world. That’s right, the world.

Justin Smith of Saxum (whose ’07 James Berry GSM was named the #1 wine in the world (!) for 2010 by Wine Spectator), Terry Culton from acclaimed Adelaida Cellars, and Neil Collins of famed Tablas Creek Vineyards and Lone Madrone will share “wine stories” and “artisan wisdom” in the spirit of camaraderie and support that has always been a unique part of Paso’s winemaking “terroir”.
Don’t miss this one.

SEMINAR 2 – 11:15-12:15am

Sponsored by Cypher Winery
“The Ultimate Barrel Tasting – Oak Flavors Tasted and Explained”

Join Christian Tietje, (former co-owner and winemaker at Four Vines and current winemaker and co-owner with Susan Mahler at the acclaimed Cypher Winery) as we taste samples of a single wine in French, American, and Hungarian Oak at various levels of toast. Impress your friends with your new ability to identify the oak treatment on any wine. Excellent information for the Garagiste and the dedicated consumer alike. Hard to duplicate this at home!

Will the after party still have tastings from each of the wineries? Or will those wines be available for purchase by the glass at that time? Thank you

The After Party is being sponsored by Firestone Brewery. The winemakers may choose to share their leftovers from the consumer tasting, but it is not guaranteed. There is no wine for sale. It’s just a chance to hang out and chat further.:)
