Sonoma FAQ

What is included in my VIP ticket to the Northern Exposure Tasting on Saturday, May 12th?

Your VIP admission ticket includes access to:

  • Access to the Garagiste Seminar from 11:30am-12:30pm
  • Wine Country Box Lunch crafted by The Girl & The Fig
  • Unlimited wine sampling – over 100 different wines to choose from 40 different wineries from1:00-5:00pm – over 4 hours of fun!
  • Cheese, Charcuterie & assorted nibbles during the Grand Tasting.

Is there food available or for purchase?

No; however, there will be cheese & charcuterie provided as a snack. We suggest grabbing lunch before your arrival, so you are more fully able to partake in the full range of wines.

Do I have to be 21?

Yes. Due to Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations, all guests must be over the age of 21 FOR EVERY EVENT. IDs will be checked upon arrival. NO ONE under 21 (babies included) will be admitted into the event.

I purchased multiple tickets but they all have my name on them. Can my other guests use the tickets?

Yes, the tickets are based off of unique bar codes not the name on the ticket. As long as they present a valid paper ticket they will be fine. If you forget your ticket, just tell the volunteers at the main check-in table your name. You ONLY need to bring your tickets and an ID (to prove you are over 21). We do NOT need to see your credit card at check-in for any event.

Is there seating?

This event is reception-style, but there is some seating available, though it is limited.

Is there a dress code?

No. All our events are very casual. We suggest comfortable shoes as you will be standing most of the time.

Is there secure storage / coat check?

No. We are not accountable for your personal items. We suggest coming into the venue as light as possible. ID, tickets & credit card or cash, your phone and camera, but leave the big bags / coats in your car unless you want to carry them during the event.

What about water? Other beverages?

There will be complementary water on hand. NO OUTSIDE alcohol will be allowed on the premises.

I have challenges getting around. Is this going to be a problem?

No. The Veterans Hall is handicap accessible.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the grounds of the venue.

How much parking is available?

There is a fairly large parking lot attached to the building with plenty of spaces to accommodate our guests. It is a short walk from the Sonoma town square so if you are staying somewhere local we suggest walking or ride-sharing to avoid complications after the event.

Is handicapped parking available?

Yes. Handicapped parking is available.
